Zhao Xiaomin is a leading interpreter of China’s religious and cultural past. He runs the ICOREC (International Consultancy on Religion, Education and Culture) office in Xian, and has co-authored many books with Martin Palmer. Zhao Xiaomin works closely with the Taoists in China as well as with many of the major museums. His training as a historian, and his practical work on religious projects such as the Sacred Mountains of China Preservation Project, gives him a unique insight into traditional Chinese religions and its practices. He is currently head of a new ICOREC project to create international travelling exhibitions of artefacts from the great museums and temples of China. These exhibitions will illustrate the religious history and development of China.
