Martin Folan, 5th Degree Black Belt, began training in Western boxing when a child and went on to train in various martial arts including Shotokan karate, judo, ju-jitsu, taekwondo, kickboxing and muay thai. He runs his own clubs, regularly teaches at seminars and - having previously been a competitor himself - has trained champions in various fighting systems.
